The goal of the LRGHealthcare Recovery Clinic is to help people achieve long-term recovery from addiction through the utilization of counseling services and medication treatment at the same time.

As a best practice program, the LRGHealthcare Recovery Clinic seeks to have clients fully engaged in substance abuse treatment services while receiving medications like Suboxone® that can help with their overall recovery. People who are involved in this program are required to stay engaged in behavioral health services throughout the time they are taking this medication.

Many patients are able to maintain sobriety long-term without long-term Suboxone®.

The Doorway at LRGHealthcare (State Opioid Grant)

LRGHealthcare has been chosen as one of nine recipients of a two year grant through the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).  The state initiative is called “The Doorway – NH.”

The Doorway at LRGHealthcare will embed a recovery coach on site Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm.  The coach will do the intitial screening and aid anyone requesting help in finding treatment alternatives.  A counselor will also be available either on site or by pager during those same hours to perform an evaluation for any client for whom this would be appropriate.

The Doorway, previously located at Lakes Region General Hospital, is now located at Hillside Medical Park. We will be open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. We can be reached by calling 2-1-1 or 603-934-8905.
